Welcome back everyone! How was everyone’s week? We have some new content up tonight! Take a look at our first steps into fall fashion this year. It hasn’t been very cool here yet in STL so we have had to keep the fall looks pretty light. I can’t believe it’s the end of October and it’s still in the 80s! We clearly aren’t in MN anymore haha. Thankfully the weather has been starting to cool down and we will be able to do a full dive into some chunky sweaters and boots this next week. But until then, keep on reading and get the dish on not only what’s been happening these last few weeks, but also for the outfit deets 😉
Where to begin!? So, two weeks ago Alana got married in case you all didn’t get the memo 🙂 It was literally the most fun, most beautiful wedding I have ever been to, and I am not being biased. Everyone had a beyond amazing time, and it was so great to see so many friends and family from out of town and to be able to spend some quality time with people. Honestly, these last few weeks, I must say, have been nothing short of a fairy tale. The love and support that has poured down on my sister and Ivan is absolutely astonishing. I knew we had an amazing friend group, but to see everyone come together to celebrate two of my favorite people was just absolutely beautiful. We will be doing a post on the wedding coming up. We are just waiting to get pics back from the photographer, and then we give a deeper look into what the wedding looked like. Let’s just say it looked LIKE MONNNEEYYY OKKKKKK???? Lol kidding…but not really. Shit was classy, and I was proud boujee twinnie.
Side note: I’m actually obsessed with this shot of my sister. She killed this shoot!
The weekend after the wedding the four of us (my sister, Ivan, Matt & I) all went to Orlando, Florida for what we like to call their “Mini-moon”. It was basically a short little vacay so the four of us could celebrate, and what better way to do that then to go to Disney World!? It was definitely one of my fav vacays ever. We went to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios the first night. Ok….for two Halloween queens like us, it was a total dream come true. Hands down the best haunted houses I have ever been in. The next day we went to Epcot to “drink around the world” at their food and wine festival. If you have never drank around the world at Epcot I highly recommend it. So much culture, and amazing food and drink to experience. Let’s just say we were all on happy overload. We will also have an Orlando post coming up as well so stay tuned.
Should we get to these outfits? So, basically we both clearly went very different routes, but within the same color scheme. You can’t go wrong with black and greens in fall, and you deffffinitely can’t go wrong with anything flannel or camo either. I wore these pants out the night when everyone got in for my sister’s wedding when we went out for dinner and drinks. I wanted to dress them down since we weren’t doing anything too crazy, but still wanted to make them pop. I felt like the flannel was a good way to dress it down, but also keep the edge. I ended up pairing them with some patent leather black pumps the night I went out. I think the pumps pair better than the shoes I wore in this post, but you decide. I think the piece that added the wow factor in my sister’s look were the Sahara Quay sunglasses. That see through forest green lens are literally EVERYTHING. Not to mention set against her white blonde hair…I’m done. I can’t. I love it too much.
We hope you guys enjoyed this week! Things for us have FINALLY slowed down and we are super excited to get back in the swing of things. We have some great new ideas and content coming soon so keep a look out! Thanks so much as always for following. We love you guys!
